Othery has a village store and newsagent as well as Maisey's Bakery, which has a fine selection of cakes as well as some of the best bread you will ever taste!

Langport is a small town, steeped in history, less than 10 minutes drive away.  During normal shopping hours, there are several food shops including a Butcher, Baker, wet fish shop and a Health food shop.  There is a Tesco store open until 10pm most days.  Other food shops include One Stop, a market for fruit & veg and a W.I. on Friday mornings.

Bridgwater is a large town less than 15 minutes away and has most that you could want.  There are Sainsbury's, Safeway, ASDA and Morrisons supermarkets as well as Aldi and Lidl.

Taunton is the county town of Somerset.  It is a large town around 15 minutes away.  Again, it has most that you could want.  There are Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Asda supermarkets.
